SMS Messaging Policy

Effective September 12, 2026

HeyListed, operated by Better Offers Inc, sends text messages (SMS) from toll-free numbers on behalf of the platform and the licensed real-estate professionals who use it. This page describes what we send, how consent works, and how to stop messages at any time.

Opt in to HeyListed text messages

Enter the mobile number where you want to receive requested HeyListed messages.

Messages we send

We send two kinds of text messages, and they work differently.

  • Listing and tour texts. When you call a HeyListed listing hotline and request information, or submit a form asking for updates, we text you a link to the listing you asked about and related details such as tour confirmations — these are sent because you took an action that requested them.
  • Marketing texts. Occasional messages from your agent about new listings, upcoming open houses, or market updates. We only send these after you affirmatively opt in — by replying YES to a HeyListed text or checking a marketing consent box on a form. We never enroll you in marketing texts by default. Expect up to 4 messages per month.
  • Account messages. Login codes and service notifications for registered users of HeyListed and affiliated sites.
  • Requested follow-ups. Messages you specifically ask for, such as a payment-estimate link, sent only after you request it.

Message frequency varies with your activity, and marketing texts are capped at up to 4 per month. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How consent works

Listing and tour texts: you opt in by taking an action that requests a text — calling a listing hotline and asking for information, submitting a form that offers text updates, or signing up for an account with your mobile number.

Marketing texts: these require a separate, affirmative opt-in — replying YES to a message we send you, or checking an unchecked-by-default marketing consent box on a form. You can opt in to one without opting in to the other. Consent to receive any text is not a condition of purchasing any property, product, or service. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the phone numbers we collect.

What opt-in looks like

On the phone. When you call a listing hotline, the assistant offers to text you the listing link and reads this notice before any message is sent:

I'll text you a link to this listing at the number you're calling from. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts.

On our forms. Listing-page and open-house forms include an optional, unchecked-by-default consent checkbox. These are the exact disclosures shown (wording versions heylisted-real-estate-contact-v3 and open-house-self-checkin-v2):

I agree that this real estate agent may contact me about this real-estate request, including by text message if I provided a mobile number. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. This does not authorize mortgage or marketing contact.

Send me property updates from [Agent Name], including by text message if I provided a mobile number. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Each consent is recorded with a timestamp, the wording version shown above, and the form it was given on. Submitting any form without checking the box still works — you simply will not receive texts.

Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We honor opt-outs immediately.
  • Reply HELP, email support@heylisted.com, or call (888) 421-1117 for assistance.

Privacy

Phone numbers collected for messaging are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number, and mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
